Southern Race Week is a one-hour weekly radio program geared exclusively
to the best short-track and super speedway racing in the Southeast.


Each week, host William Barber and a team of racing experts explore the world
of NASCAR, short track asphalt and dirt auto racing to discover what makes
drivers push their cars to the limit.


From legendary racetracks to the newest facilities Southern Race Week
journeys behind the scenes to provide the latest information and a guest list of
the ‘who’s who’ in racing. Recent program guests include Jimmie Johnson, Clint
Bowyer, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Trevor Bayne, Rusty Wallace, Ed Clark, President of
Atlanta Motor Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway Chairman Grant Lynch.

William Barber bio


Southern Race Week host William Barber has almost 20 years of experience
as a journalist, car owner and sponsor. He attended his first race at the age of
three with his dad at their local dirt track and was hooked from that day. He
began in media sales and publishing before moving into TV & Radio
broadcasting. William has also been an Executive Producer and host of
motorsports TV programs for national and regional cable networks. “We are adding more and more local drivers to our list of interviews and have partnered with nearly every track we can find….if it has four wheels and goes fast Southern Race Week team will cover it.” said Barber.

Southern Race Week is available on barter. Affiliates carry 6 minutes per hour
of network commercials and there are 6 minutes per hour available to sell in your
local market.


The program is available for download (as of Wednesday mornings) via GNN
OnDemand at www.frn.com/gnnondemand (click on “Sportscasts”) and via
Starguide on the GNN-B channel at the following times:
